Tara passed away suddenly on May 7, 2012.
She was the first Bear Creek tiger and was 23 years old. Words can't express how much we miss her.

Tara is the oldest tiger at Bear Creek. Because of nutritional defeciencies she suffered before she arrived here she has very crooked teeth. Because of her crooked teeth sometimes her tongue hangs out and occasionally she drools. But she doesn't care, and we don't care either.

Tara lives with Taj. She is very sweet.
