Marika is a female De Brazza's monkey. De Brazzas live in central Africa and sre sometimes called swamp monkeys. The live in trees and on the ground, but spend most of their time it trees. Marika is shy, and she eats fruit, vegetables, seeds, nuts and she catches bugs when she's outside during the summer. De Brazza monkeys will also eat frogs and lizards. Marika's tail is longer than her body. The De Brazza monkey population is threatened in the wild by deforestation, habitat fragmentation, and poaching for bush meat. (People eat them.)
Marika is a little bit shy
Marika's upper lip fur is blue.
She looks like a little old man!
Marika loves apple seeds.
She loves lettuce cores too.
