We are located just west of Barrie, Ontario in Canada.

We are a volunteer driven non-profit organization dedicated to the survival of rare and endangered species. We are also involved in humane wildlife rescue and rehabilitation of animals involved in public concerns, and as always, we provide a safe haven for unwanted, abused and injured exotic and zoo surplus animals.

Introducing Baloo, our newest resident! Baloo is a black bear.

Baloo's winter enclosure was built with a lot of help from you, our donors and supporters. Thank you so much! But our job is not done, he is a growing boy and we will be continuing to build the rest of his enclosure (approximately 10,000 square feet) as soon as the weather is right. When Baloo is full grown he will weigh about 600 pounds!

Baloo's enclosure wil be 10,000 square feet big. He will have a permanent swimming pool, a cabin, a treehouse, a den and many toys.
We expect the cost of buildinng materials to be about $17,000.
