Adoptions and Private Tours

Bear Creek Exotic Wildlife Sanctuary is not open to the general public. Private tours are scheduled by appointment only, weather permitting, May through September. You may also choose to support Bear Creek Exotic Wildlife Sanctuary through adoption. See below for our adoption levels.

Private Tour (without adoption)  - $50.00 per person, $25.00 for children ages 10 to 16.
Come to Bear Creek with your friends and family for a private tour. Our tours take approximately 2 hours. You will get to meet all of
our animals and can ask questions of our staff of volunteers. You will be closer to our animals than you would be at any zoo, and
because we foster-raise big cat cubs for other facilities opportunities may arise to meet and play with the babies in
a controlled and supervised environment. We don't always have babies, but we often do!
(Sorry-small children, strollers and umbrellas are not allowed on our tours.)

Adoption Levels: (All adoptions are for one year.)

"Friend" $50.00
Choice of available animals, personalized certificate of adoption and a ready-to-frame photo of your adopted animal. A photo of your chosen animal will be posted to our "Adoptions" website page with your name, an optional message and adoption level. This option makes a great gift for a birthday, graduation, anniversary or memorial tribute.

"Guardian" $150.00
Everything in the "Friend" level PLUS come for a private tour and meet your chosen animal.
Each additional adult attending costs $50, children ages 10 - 16 are $25. Recieve an update and picture on your adopted animal's birthday. (Tours are conducted by appointment only, weather permitting, May through September.)

"Protector" $500.00
Everything in "Friend" and "Guardian" levels PLUS: A sign on your adopted animal's home enclosure with your name as sponsor. Unlimited private tours of the sanctuary for your adoptive year with one guest (additional adult guests $50, children under 12 $10) Monthly updates and snapshots of your adopted animal. Adoptions under the "Protector" level are exclusive for that animal for that year.

Tours

Private tours must be booked at least one week in advance, are dependant on the weather and may be cancelled without notice. (We are often called upon to provide immediate rescue options to animals in need and that work will override any social engagements we have scheduled.) Payment for additional guests is due at the time of the tour. (Sorry-small children, strollers and umbrellas are not allowed on our tours.) Private tours may or may not include limited interaction with certain animals, and depending on availability, could include interaction and photo opportunities with baby animals - afterall, they need to exercise and play.
